I Sing the Body Electric of Sarah Bush Lincoln is partnering with the band, Attaboy, to bring a message of hope and “good choices” to students in Arcola and Casey-Westfield schools.

Attaboy will give two performances on Wednesday, April 10, at Arcola High School, 351 W. Washington St., including a school assembly performance at 1:30 pm followed by a 7 pm performance.

The band will give two additional performances on Thursday, April 11, at Casey-Westfield High School, 306 E. Edgar Ave., including a school assembly performance at 10:30 am followed by a 7 pm performance. The two evening performances are free and open to the public.

Though its music, the band addresses teen issues like depression and suicide in hopes of helping students find better ways to cope. Body Electric is a Sarah Bush Lincoln program that uses the arts to communicate healthy lifestyle choices among youth.
